The Landtamers construction division installs artificial turf. We recommend when installing artificial turf in the back yard to leave irrigation on so that the sprinklers will keep the artificial turf cool as it gets very hot during the summer months. Especially if there are children playing in the backyard as to not burn their feet. Artificial turf is easy to maintain. Mainly raking and keeping it clean. Get an artificial turf rake that will pull the artificial grass blades back up. After a couple of years add more sand to the turf with a bottom feed drop spreader, it will hold the artificial turf to weight it down. Check the anchors periodically. If you have pets, simply hose off the turf to eliminate odors.
